I specialize in attachment trauma and somatic connection.

I enjoy working with those who feel disconnected from themselves; whether that be living in misalignment from your values or stuck in survival mode. This could show up for you as feeling emotionally shut down and distant or overly overwhelmed and mentally hyperactive; that you're constantly carrying something heavy or fast paced in your mind and in your body.

 

I offer support for Adults & Teens in Washington State through individual sessions & trauma intensives; particularly supporting relational wounds, neurodivergent minds, chronic illness/pain, and those anywhere from limited to expert body awareness.

Together we will dip into the feelings you haven't wanted to know or simply haven't had the tools to connect with. We will get to know the now-overactive and often unnecessary 'protective younger parts' of yourself that once kept you safe and find something better for them to do. 

 

We live in brilliant bodies constantly learning and unlearning.

As we grow, our bodies and minds create rules and behaviors to keep us safe. Problem now is, we're grown up; maybe mentally we've moved on. These rules and protections are outdated and need new jobs. They no longer need to help us when we have the capasity to help ourselves.

In session, expect authenticity, honesty, collaboration, curiosity, learning, & a little humor along the way. This is a guided but flexible space to really learn about and reconnect with yourself in a new way. Let's take notes from the journey you've lived and create something meaningful for you to take with you.

Together we will connect to your body and feelings, create and fine-tune unique values-based tools and explore what stories your mind and body have bonded to. These tools will guide your system to be mindfully responsive rather than reactive.

 

The reverberations of this work together will reflect on and impact all areas of your daily life, relationships, goals, and growth. The goal is not to 'fix' you, but to 'find' you so authentically that you might not even need my support anymore.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Intensive Treatment Session

90 minute trauma intensive for nervous system regulation

Integrating somatic techniques & memory reprocessing, we will decrease your nervous system response to triggers.

Offered in a three-session model or as needed in session (for recurring clients).

A.R.T. Bundle

This package is for individuals seeking immediate relief from trauma triggers. For those hoping for a one-time reprocessing session rather than ongoing sessions with Wildwood Counseling at this time.

 After an ART session, you will remember the details of your memory but lose emotional hold.  The intensity will be diminished or evaporated after one session. During an ART session, you may keep your 'story' private to yourself or invite the therapist to know more. The only thing required is a willingness to explore and disclose current emotions.

No preparation necessary, besides willingness to engage and a desire to release the traumas.

 

We will utilize bilateral eye movement, imaginative visualization, somatic connection, and talk therapies to decrease impacts to your nervous system as related to past stressors, traumas, losses, relational dynamics, or daily pressures. As an evolutionary protection, our systems hold onto the impacts of memories logically AND somatically. 

Through ART we will allow the somatic body memory to heal in ways our brain and logic might never allow. 

*You are encouraged to maintain support from other therapists and/or practitioners in the community for best care.*

Session Bundle: $500

30 minute Intro Session

The prep session; getting to know each other, exploring themes and triggers, practicing eye movements, exploring supports, & creating a follow-up plan.

 

We will explore how healing will impact your life and others.

A R T Processing Session

The 90-minute trauma intensive; working together to reprocess the impacts of trauma on your wellbeing.

 

This session is structured and directive.

30 minute Outtake Session

The follow-up;  we will briefly explore the impacts of ART on your growth and nervous system. This session will be within 2 weeks of your ART intensive.

 

At this session we may schedule more sessions as needed.
